On my creative path, painting and creating textural paintings and interior details, experimenting with different materials that produce a more interesting texture, I discovered clay plaster – a natural material that is unique in its simplicity, and obedience to the hand of the creator, and by its very nature, simply rewarding in its aesthetic. Abstract expressionism, relief paintings, minimalism, botanical paintings, geometry – on canvas or on the wall – clay plaster gives me the freedom to fulfil a wide range of ideas in my work, using a variety of styles, techniques and textures. The theme of the work, the colour scheme and the place in the interior make the textured painting the desired accent that creates the mood of the environment and harmonises it.
