The Reshio handbag is crafted from alternative/sustainable cactus leather. The cactus leather selected for this product undergoes a production process known for its ecological, ethical, and resource-saving attributes. In terms of durability, cactus leather products can endure as long as standard animal leather.
The bag’s design consists of regular quadrilaterals, minimizing waste and enabling the utilization of residues for further production. This approach facilitates a conscious evaluation of the raw materials’ value in every aspect. Transforming flat geometric shapes into a volumetric object presents a challenge in moving beyond literal interpretation. Seeking volume within flat forms ensures that the final appearance of the object isn’t solely dictated by the elemental nature of its details. Incorporating reinforcing fittings for the knot motif enables the creation of the piece’s sculptural character without the need for additional details.
